"Photograh in the exhibition Unhiddenness is therefore a series of images that interweave materials, utensils, and details in each frame, that tell the tale of ordinary people and their ways of life. The disappearance of certain everyday materials and utensils naturally will be replaced by newer version of these common articles and will in turn be passed on to the new generation of the observed, as well as the observer."

(Con)Front
John CLANG

12th June - 3rd July 2010
In an attempt to tackle both the conscious and the unconscious, Con(Front) is a series of visual dialogues that pin down the photographer's response to his environment and his relentless search for a sense of place and identity. Provocative and disquieting, minimal yet profound, the exhibition examines the deconstruction of memory and time, the human desire to project towards the future, but what comes out of the future is the past.
